Did you know the average home bins around £700 worth of good food every year? But worry not. OLIO – The Food Sharing Revolution is here!
OLIO is a free app connecting neighbours with each other and with local shops and cafes to share their edible surplus food. And, on 28th November we are coming together to celebrate its community in Jersey. We hope you can join us!
We believe food is meant for sharing and we invite you, your friends and family to bring a dish so we can all break bread together. Please bring either a starter, main or dessert, labelled with it’s ingredients indicating whether it’s vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, contains nuts etc.
A potluck is a gathering where each guest contributes a dish of food that is to be shared, please select from the ticket list what dish you’ll be bringing.
Away from the eating, there’ll be other activities and surprises to entertain adults and little people alike.
If you love food, hate waste, and want to connect with your community, then please join us at the Jersey Potluck in the Old Magistrates Court, St Helier on the 28th November. We hope you can make it!
