Dear OLIO Community, we’re super excited to be working with Pret A Manger! Pret has been at the forefront of donating surplus food to people in need through their Pret Foundation. Pret is going to donate their surplus food to OLIO whenever they’ve been unable to find a charity to collect on that specific day and time. I am therefore looking for a Food Waste Hero volunteer to collect this food on a regular basis (1 volunteer per collection day, you’d cover the same day every week) and distribute it to the local community via the OLIO app. Foods include their range of ambient and chilled products such as sandwiches, salads and pastries. You can keep up to 10% of what you collect for yourself. Last available collection slots are Thursdays at 5pm (Pret Castle Street) and Saturdays at 10pm (Pret Waverley station) and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
