Dear OLIO Community in East London, I’m looking for 2 more OLIOers who’d regularly pick up unsold surplus food 7 days a week at 8.30pm from a health foods store on commercial road. You need to call the store beforehand to make sure they have surplus on that particular day. All food is chilled or ambient and still good to eat but not good enough to sell. You would take the food home and redistribute it via the OLIO app from there to the local community. As a little thank you you can keep 10% for yourself. You would cover the same day every week. We organise ourselves in a WhatsApp group. Interested? I bet you are!
