It was my first guitar and I’ve owned it since I was about 8 years old and only held on to it sentimentally.

It’s knackered. The wound strings are all rusty and completely defying the laws of science, so too are the nylon ones. It sounds terrible, intonation is out from the 4th fret upwards and the body has separated.

Pros?
It’s free, you can do a cool sounding vibrato bend thing by pressing the body back together and they say limited and poor resources breed creativity. It may awaken something in you musically, or you might turn it into an edgy art installation.

Also one day you might see me at an open mic and you’ll be able to tell your mates you have my first Guitar which might fill 1-3 minutes of conversation. Could be a handy ice breaker if this open mic happens to be a first date in some edgy NQ bar.
